<p><strong><a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9LerNeAKcNmOXpJaS1zUzVEaUU/edit?usp=sharing" target="_blank">RESULTS</a></strong><a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9LerNeAKcNmOXpJaS1zUzVEaUU/edit?usp=sharing" target="_blank"></a><strong><br></strong></p><p>Click on the link above to view the results.</p><hr id="horizontalrule"><p><strong>Last Minute Details:</strong></p><p><strong>What to bring:</strong></p><p>Long pants, bug spray - protection against ticks</p><p><strong>Water - there will be no water on course and limited water at the start (the water from the campground must be boiled - so bring water with you.)</strong></p><p>Whistle - all participants must carry a whistle</p><p>Watch - all participants should carry a watch or equivalent reliable method of telling the time - this is a timed eve nt - you want to make sure you are back within the time limit and must be back by course closing time (2pm).</p><p>Money for entries ($10/adult, $5/junior)</p><p><strong>Directions: </strong></p><p>The event location is just south of Station Flats on Highway 66, across from the Paddy's Flat campground. <a href="https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=207485004372351602250.0004f97101fd5117ddc29&msa=0&ll=50.893208,-114.695549&spn=0.021223,0.055704">Map of Location</a> . Go to the main campground entrance off highway 66 and follow the signs to parking.</p><p>Allow about 10-15 minutes to walk from the parking to the event site (the route will be marked with pin flags/signs)</p><p><strong>Toilets:</strong></p><p>The nearest outhouses are at the group campsite, across the highway from the event.</p><p><strong>Safety:</strong></p><p>Thi s is bear country. Shadowing children is strongly recommended. Making plenty of noise is also a good idea. Consider carrying bear spray.</p><p>Watch out and be courteous to other trail users, hikers, bikers, horseback riders.</p><p>This event will be a Score-O. This is a format where you try to get to as many controls as possible in any order in a given time. Controls may have different point values and there are penalties for being over the time limit. (Its not worth being late back).</p><p><strong>Please sign BY MIDNIGHT THURSDAY MAY 29 up on this page or email </strong><a href="mailto:volunteer@orienteeringcalgary.ca">volunteer@orienteeringcalgary.ca</a><strong> for a map, stating which course you would like to do.</strong></p><p><em>NOTE: Entries are included for family camp participants</em></p><p><strong>Courses: </strong></p><p>Long 90 minute score orienteering course</p><p>Short 30 minute score orienteering course</p><p><strong>Start Times: </strong></p><p>Long Course 11am to 12:30pm</p><p>Short Course 11am to 1:30pm</p><p><strong>Course closing: 2pm</strong></p><p><strong>Cost: Aduts $10, juniors $5 (please bring cash or cheque to the event). All participants must be members of an orienteering club.
