These low-key orienteering activities happen Thursday evening at 6:00pm at a different location in the Kelowna area. There will be both beginner and advanced courses, so there is something for everyone and their family. </p><h3>Terrain</h3><p>We are on a new map in the Wilden forest below Upper Canyon Drive that did not burn in the 2023 fire. It is mostly open forest with some hills, an extensive trail network, and recent fire smarting activity that has opened the forest up even more. </p><h3>Meeting Location</h3><p>In the cul-de-sac at the south end of Forest Edge Drive. This is a residential neighbourhood. Please try to carpool to minimize the number of cars. Parking is on the nearby streets and cars cannot be parked in the turnaround area at the end of the street. Membership is required to fulfill our insurance obligations. We try and keep costs to a bare minimum while still paying for insurance and map printing. Everybody here is a volunteer doing our best. If you are able to make a donation to help cover some map printing costs or for other equipment, it would also be much appreciated. </p> 6218
