Try-Its are an excellent way to try the sport of orienteering. Bring your family and friends! Each person that registers receives their own map What to expect? <ul> <li>You will receive brief coaching instructions.</li> <li>You can try a couple of learning activities.</li> <li>You will get a map and head out for a self-led map walk or run on the beginner - orienteering course.</li><li>Your course should take you about 1 hour.</li> <li>No previous experience is necessary, join us for this fun walk to explore Calgary's parks!</li> <li>All children must be supervised by an adult</li> </ul>Any questions for about the Try it Events: info@orienteeringalberta.ca If you decide to return for additional sessions, you will need to join the FWOC Club (with a $20 annual membership fee, discounted for families) and pay the event fee $5.
